About the Author
Randy Sprinkle, a former missionary to Africa, understands the impact prayer can have on a community and the world. He has served as the director of transformational leadership for the Baptist Convention of New England and has served as the director of the International Prayer Strategy Office for the International Mission Board. He holds a doctor of ministry degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and currently resides in Massachusetts with his wife.

Excellent Resource for Maximizing Your Walk with God and Your Witness for Christ!

As a young believer I heard a statement in a message which I have often quoted since that greatly impacted my Christian life. The speaker said that you will never grow spiritually beyond the level of your prayer life. How true that statement is and has proven to be in my own life. Powerful Little Book

I'm a 30-something stay at home mom with two kids under 3. My husband and I have worked through this study together and have really grown in our prayer life. I think you get the most benefit working in a group (that is what it is designed for), but we were able to get a lot out of it with just the two of us. We were looking to do a study together and this one stood out. There is a group guide and some extra thoughts from Dr. Sprinkle in the back. For example he talks about being sensitive to the Holy Spirit trying to work through your children and asking them to pray with you. This has been something that has drawn our family closer together and grown my daughter's spiritual life. My kids are both very small, but they both love to pray and are interested in learning about the Bible. This study has helped me to know how to pray as I go throughout my day to know how to minister to them and mother them. I have met so many people in everyday places like the grocery store, mall or play ground where conversations were started with people where I know it was the Holy Spirit at work for either answers to my own prayers or me needing to pray for them. Dr. Sprinkle, please write praying in your family...just my two cents.
